Jonesborough’s Wizardly World weekend just got a lot more magical. For the first time, Main Street Jonesborough, in partnership with The Goose Chase, will host the Great Hall Dinner as the official kickoff event for Jonesborough’s Wizardly World weekend.

The enchanting dinner experience will take place on Friday, July 31, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the International Storytelling Center, Harry’s Birthday, making it the perfect way for witches, wizards, and magical guests of all ages to begin the weekend’s festivities.

Guests will step into the atmosphere of a wizarding feast while enjoying a specially curated menu inspired by the traditional start-of-term feasts. The evening’s meal, prepared by Main Street Café and Catering, will feature roasted chicken, roasted potatoes, roasted carrots, sourdough bread, salad, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. This also includes one specialty cocktail or mocktail. Main Street Café and Catering is also known for preparing the beloved Farm to Table Dinner in downtown Jonesborough, bringing their expertise and culinary creativity to this new unique experience.

Tickets to the Great Hall Dinner are $95 and will also offer immersive experiences featuring character meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, live themed entertainment, and interactive surprises throughout the evening for guests to fully embrace the magic of the wizardly world. Costumes are encouraged.

Check in will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the International Storytelling Center. Space is limited, and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early.
